Plasma Screen Shipping Info
Due to the high value and sensitive nature of Plasma Displays it is very important that the unit be shipped by professionals. A plasma display is not something that you would hand to regular courier such as Fedex or UPS
Our units are delivered by companies who specialize in sensitive/ high value products. In most cases we can have the unit delivered to your location in 3 to 4 days. ( except for remote areas) The unit will be carried into your house or office and placed in whatever room you choose. ( 2 flights maximum) . Our shippers will however not unpack or install the unit
All units are shipped fully insured. When you receive the Plasma please inspect the unit for signs of external damage prior to signing for the shipment and if present, please make note of this on the waybill. If there is signs of external damage please open the box and inspect the unit for obvious damage prior to signing for the product.
Our Plasma Screens ship with impact and "tip and tell" sensors. When you receive a plasma please check to see that they have not turned red. If they have turned red, This does not mean the plasma is definitely damaged but you should mark on waybill that they have been triggered and if possible open the box immediately and check for physical damage. These sensors can be overly sensitive and will trigger well below the damage level of a plasma so there are many false alarms with the sensors. For example a worker may have bumped the sensor causing it to turn red but no impact was received by the actual screen. Please Note: Untriggered sensors do not mean the plasma is not broken so please be sure to inspect the unit within 24 hours as below.
IMPORTANT :IN ALL CASES :within 24 hours of receiving the unit please open and inspect for any possible shipping damage. (ie dents, broken glass etc) (this is very very rare but it can happen )
As with all our products , Our Plasma TV's are covered by a 30 day faulty product replacement warranty in the case of failure. However if the unit has physical signs of shipping damage and you did not report it within 24 hours of receipt of the unit this warranty will not apply.
If you receive a damaged product and report it within 24 hours Please do not be concerned. A replacement unit will be shipped very quickly , usually the same day as the report is received and at no cost to yourself.
